Ms Ooi has more than 15 years of nursing experience practicing in the Malaysia healthcare industry. She is well versed in the area of midwifery. She has acquired management capabilities while working in a commercial set up. Her management experience includes training of nurses, inventory management, general screening and liaison with laboratories, hospitals and overseas assignments. She has also acquired valuable experience in supervising a team of data registrars for the National Trauma Database.
